Education: Completed a horticulture course at the Victorian College of Agriculture and Horticulture (Burnley).
Occupation: Member of the Victorian State Sports Council, assistant manager of the Australian World Junior Athletics Team, and similar roles throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Also involved with coaching and television commentary.
Sport: Athletics: 100m, 200m, 400m, 4 x 100m relay, 4 x 400m relay
 

Other interests: Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996, Raelene has been involved with raising awareness of this condition to help raise funds for cancer research. She became a founding member of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation in 1997
